IRS Form 990
As a tax-exempt not-for-profit organization, NRECA is required to file an IRS Form 990 annually. This form promotes transparency by making certain information available to the public, including an overview of the organization’s finances.
NRECA’s leadership, including management and directors, are responsible for the long-term vision and efficient operation of the association. Both management and directors spend substantial time managing and providing oversight of the association’s operations, communicating with members, and maintaining their awareness of industry trends and issues that are specific to electric co-ops.
